All our engineers are fully trained and qualified. Using a cloud based management system which provides live reporting to clients, all engineers carry handheld devices to complete and digitally certify all completed works, which reduces downtime and provides clients with real time completion.
UPS Electrical & Mechanical is part of UPS Building & Maintenance Ltd, one of the leading property services contractors in the North West.
The Electrical & Mechanical division was established to provide specialist design, installation and maintenance services for our clients in the local authority, social housing, commercial and private sectors.
We employ a dedicated team of 7 fully qualified electricians and 3 apprentices.
Through our sister company ASL, we have access to the latest product innovations which can offer our clients and customers significant cost savings and reduction in carbon footprint.

Trafford Council
UPS is Trafford Council’s main contractor for all Disabled Funded Grants Major Adaptations including level access showers and extensions. UPS Electrical & Mechanical carries out all all electrical works such as new EICR inspections, installation of new lighting, fans, showers, and wiring to new extensions.
Guinness Partnership
UPS carries out responsive repairs and voids services to support Guinness Partnership’s in-house team, City Response, which includes EICR testing, re-wires, electrical repairs and remedial works, central heating upgrades and replacements to void properties, as well as reactive repairs.
Wigan Council
UPS has delivered a range of major building works services via the Specialist Minor Improvements Building Framework since 2015, including the construction of new build extensions. We undertake the full electrical and heating installations, sometimes with specialist equipment which requires interface with client nominated contractors.
